Oct 5, 2008 SOS - ARCH-etypal Intervals Sandy Springs GA

SOS performed one of their favorite meditation pieces for the Theosophical Society in Atlanta. ARCH-etypal Intervals demonstrates how specific ratios of sound in turn correlate to the archetypal elements: air, fire, water, earth and ether. Balancing the archetypal elements within the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies is a direct route to accessing the original blueprint of health. Consider these intervals to be the vibratory architecture of your energetic template! The members of TS Atlanta were fascinated with Candace's lecture and delighted with the sounds of the crystal bowls. Lots of great questions and discussion ensued!

Sep 21, 2008 Cymatics Conference 2008 Atlanta GA

From the Vedic myth of creation to the Chinese origin of the meridians to the Greek Harmony of the Spheres, macro and microcosm alike resonate to archetypal patterns of energy which can be accessed through the intervals of music. Candace illuminated these patterns and demonstrated their profound impact in her multi-media presentation. The sounds of crystal bowls and flutes gently lead participants to realign mind, body and spirit within the original template of balance, harmony and whole health.

2008 The Art & Science of Sound Therapy Follow-Up Atlanta GA
Nov 18, 2007 SOS Crystal Bowl Choir - Anahata Heart Chakra Decatur GA

In a crystal bowl meditation SOS sounded the symbol of Anahata and toned the Sanskrit mantra and twelve bijas associated with this Heart chakra.

Made up of two superimposed equilateral triangles, one upright and one inverted, the six-pointed star encapsulates a symbol of both Spirit descending into the Physical and the Physical ascending to Spirit. This geometric juxtaposition is also a powerful image of the harmonious relationship between male and female forces in the universe. The inverted triangle is the symbol of creativity, Shakti; and the upright triangle represents consciousness or Shiva. The crystal bowl pitches heard are musical intervals that define the specific ratios of the six-pointed star and create archetypal intervals that define the energetic nature of the Heart chakra.

Anahata in sanskrit means unstruck. It is often interpreted as, "unstruck sound," and it is from this chakra that the inner sound or natural music of the body is said to arise. The Heart chakra is also known as 'the space within the heart where purity resides'. At the center of the image of the Heart chakra is the sanskrit letter for the bija mantra "YAM". This is the Anahata sound, the sound vibration of the "absolute word" or Shabda Brahman. In the center of the mandala is found an eternal flame which represents the individual soul. Radiating outward from the mandala are twelve petals or “yoga nadis” of which specific heart chakra qualities are manifested by toning the corresponding Sanskrit letters, the bijas. It’s said that just as a great tree resides within the seed, so does a god or goddess reside in each bija. When we chant the bijas, we identify each syllable with the divine energy they represent.

Meditation on the Heart chakra enhances the qualities of love, security, compassion, moral responsibility and benevolence. It is said to benefit the heart, lungs, blood pressure and touch. Through meditation on the Anahata chakra there comes the freedom to escape from a preordained fate and to determine one's own destiny. According to the tantras, at the root of Anahata there is a wish fulfilling tree. When this tree bears fruit, whatever you think or wish becomes a reality! SOS offered this crystal bowl meditation with love and gratitude for abundance!

Sep 6, 2006 SOS Crystal Bowl Choir - Sacred Sound/Sacred Geometry Lawrenceville GA

SOS Crystal Bowl Choir sounded a performance meditation by the lake at Serenity Lakes in Lawrenceville on Wednesday, September 6th before a lecture given by Freddy Silva. The SOS layout was in the form of one of the sacred geometric sound patterns that Freddy discussed in his lecture. Similar to the ancient healing temples, the very shape of this form accessed electro-magnetic energy lines for specific healing. The crystal bowls sounded the actual ratios inherent in the geometric forms creating a total sensory immersion!
