Candace's private studio encompasses the whole of Greater Atlanta, with teaching locations in north and west Atlanta.  The Lovett School is on Paces Ferry, west of I-75.  The Murray Arts Center is on Stilesboro, north of Barrett Pkwy.  Classic Winds is on Shallowford in East Cobb.  Contact Candace for openings and scheduling.  All levels.

Candace's private students have consistently performed successfully for Allstate, District, Solo & Ensemble, The Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, The Emory Wind Ensemble, the Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra, at Brevard, Interlochen & Tanglewood Summer Institutes and in Recital.

Flutes on Fire, a trio renowned for its impassioned interpretation and its exquisite blend draws a loyal following in the Southeast. This internationally acclaimed trio has also performed at the National Flute Association Conventions in Boston, Orlando, New York City and Kansas City. Performing a repertoire which includes music of the masters through light classics to pop and jazz has proven them to be a versatile and entertaining ensemble.

Candace Keach, originally from Athens, Georgia has been principal flutist with the Macon Symphony for over 20 years. She has been a featured soloist with this orchestra as well as with summer music festivals in Italy, Switzerland and France. Her orchestral experience in the southeast has included performances with the Atlanta Symphony, the Birmingham Symphony and the Greenville Symphony. She was principal flutist with the National Touring Company's "Phantom of the Opera" at the Fox. Candace is flute professor at Spelman College and The Lovett School. Her own studies were at the University of Georgia and at the New England Conservatory in Boston.

Amy Orsinger, a Pennsylvania native, has been both principal and second flutist in the Charlotte Symphony for the past fifteen years. Before moving to Charlotte, Amy lived in Atlanta and performed in numerous chamber ensembles and regional orchestras in the southeast. She holds performance degrees from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Institute of Chamber Music. Amy has recorded two compact discs with the Taliesin Orchestra and is flute professor at Wingate University. 

Alison Gillon, a native of Atlanta, returned to Georgia after a 12-year performing career in Paris, France. A graduate of the New England Conservatory, she continued studies at the Sorbonne in Paris which led her to a position as associate professor at the American School in Paris, and the International Schools of Paris. Alison has performed in many diverse settings; from Symphony Hall in Atlanta to the Hotel Tallyrand-Paris to the prestigious Club St. James of London. She has been a frequent performer with the Greenville Symphony and with the Macon Symphony. She is presently director and flute professor for the Greater Atlanta Music Academy at Whipkey's Music.

Candace and Susan have played together for over fifteen years.  Their symbiotic playing is a result of their easy friendship and master musicianship.  Together, they have delighted audiences from Atlanta Symphony Hall to San Marco's Cathedral in Venice, Italy; from Macon Symphony Opera House to the Embassy Residence in Paris, France.  Their musicianship is impeccable, their arrangements are beautiful and the warmth of their friendship shines through their music!

Susan Bennett Brady is the principal harpist in the Atlanta Opera Orchestra, Macon Symphony Orchestra and the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.  Susan has also performed as a concerto soloist with the Macon Symphony, Columbus Symphony, Huntsville Symphony, and Cobb Symphony Orchestras.  She received her Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance and a Certificate of Special Studies from the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia.  Susan was awarded the second prize in the Young Professional Division of the American Harp Society Competition, was a prizewinner in the Elizabeth Herbert Hobin Harp Competition and attended the Berkshire Music Festival at Tanglewood on a fellow's harp scholarship.

Atlanta's Best & Longest Running Flute Camp! 18th Year!! Alison Gillon, 12 years professor at the American School of Paris & Candace Keach, 25 years principal flutist in the Macon Symphony invite 4th - 12th graders to participate in the annual Sizzlin' Summer Flute Fiesta! Monday, June 21st - Friday, June 25th, this week of activities is designed for all levels to learn in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. The final session will involve everyone in a mini-recital of ensemble pieces to which the parents are invited!!!
